From city to city
From Town to Town is a TV series by Paľo Pekarčík, which presents the different Slovak cities, seen through the youthful eyes of a visitor who is not so youthful, half tourist, half resident, Mishuko, a Japanese man living in Slovakia, whom Paľo unearthed somehow, but this kind of thing, he has the secret. So Paľo arrived at our house with his Japanese friend, we went to the park near the Kežmarok Castle, in which sits the superb Jánošík war tank, a monument to the Second World War. We climbed onto the tank, and to the sound of the balalaika, we started singing a very famous Slovak hymn, Najkrajší kút (The Most Beautiful Corner of the World). That's all it takes to make Paľo happy, but we truly lent ourselves wholeheartedly to this extraordinary scenario, just as Paľo likes them.
